"Cloistered"

A compilation of three solo albums produced completely in isolation, in a small cabin deep in the Oregon coastal range during the historic snow storm of late 2013-early 2014.

"Self Stor.age // Coruscate \\ That.Being.Said"

During the course of tracking these pieces I encountered a historic snow storm that left me stranded for days on end with little food and no way of escaping. While recording I was continuously threatened by falling branches and frozen bark intermittently smashing onto the roof in the middle of the night. Coincidentally, one day in the blind daylight a 90 ft Doug Fir came crashing down amidst a take (if you listen closely you will hear it prior to minute 12:00 during Self Stor.age !) The glorious beast went down in a blaze of glory... it smashed the outhouse, grazed the woodshed, and landed just about 5 feet from my trusty east-coast-rusted out station wagon. I was terrified. I barely slept, and when I did, I did so with my bike helmet on. Luckily I had electricity and I was cleverly rationing my food. But I really survived because I was focusing on what was has always given me a sense of purpose here on the earth... the vibrations of music creation and the mystical ether that surrounds, transforms, and eventually releases it. After about a week or so the weather started to warm up and I could successfully escape to town, where there was plenty of supplies.
Anecdote aside...this album is dedicated to all souls here on earth that are experiencing troublesome times
