This unhinged set of loops and tangents are all tiny nods to the untethered spirit of the adolescent. For most conservative minded denizens of planet earth the “youth” and their wildly imaginative “short attention span” is often attributed to delinquent acts of mischief, vandalism, and/or general malaise and disinterest. I beg to differ! That sacred energy is a delight to see and is a fearless sensibility that I cherish. The older I get those haphazard spurts of energy and recklessness are few and far between. When they do seep into my life I do my best to embrace them as what they are; raw, inspired, and messy around the edges.
